Summer Camps
If you are looking to have your child escape the house or classroom this summer, then look no further than Summershine Camps!
Based out of Kaohsiung, this camp is a great way for your child to practice and learn new English, while experiencing wonderful Taiwanese nature, such as waterfalls, rivers, mountains and parks. We welcome children aged 7-13.

This summer we are pleased to announce that we will have an array of Camps to suit active children in June and July! Now entering our 7th year, Summershine Camps will have a mix of our most popular Camps for children and parents to choose from. Your child will forge lifelong memories, as they beat the summer heat in an all-English environment while learning about nature, enjoying activities, sports and games, and of course meeting new friends!
Session 2: Nature Adventure Camp - June 30-July 4

Suitable for ages 7-13
As our most popular Camp, this year we are opening up 2 weeks of water-filled adventure! Sign up for 1 week or both. During each weekday from 9:00am to 3:30pm, we will travel via private bus to a wonderful local nature spot, such as a river, beach, or park. Our program is designed to enrich your child’s imagination and knowledge of nature, forge lifelong friendships, and promote active and healthy exercise through play! Costs include:
- All transportation via private bus
- All admissions fees
- Healthy lunches and snacks
- A Summershine campers t-shirt.
In addition, book any two Camps this summer and enjoy a 5% discount on the second Camp!

History and Culture Camp - July 14-18
July 14-18, 9am to 4pm, ages 7-12.
Our aim at History and Culture Camp is to get children thinking about, and enjoying history. We do this through a combination of outdoor physical activity and education, in a fun and engaging weeklong Camp, in Southern Taiwan’s premiere all-English Camp!
Each day the Campers will meet at Auzhidi Park at 9am, where your child will be re-enacting ancient times through play - through a host of fun and interactive games from the past and present, some revolving around our historical theme. Did the ancient Romans play Capture the Flag or Dodgeball? Well, at Summershine History and Culture Camp, they do!
After breaking for a delicious and healthy picnic lunch, we will move to our Summershine classroom, in a nearby school. There we will explore ancient history and culture in a fun and exciting way! After learning about our daily topic we will engage in group writing, acting, discussion, and even prop making (to be used in the next day’s activities), before pickup time at 4pm.
And of course, every Summershine Camp will have a wonderful and exciting field trip day, as we board a private bus which will take us to the Dalukuan water park on 7/18!
Costs include all transportation, healthy lunches and snacks, admission fees, all learning and art materials, and a Summershine campers t-shirt.
