Christmas Camping!

December 23-27: open to children aged 8-13.
 

This Christmas break, are you looking for a way that your child can enjoy a memorable, healthy, wonderful adventure, all while learning social skills, life skills, and an appreciation of nature and ecology?
This December 23-27, 2024, Summershine Camps brings back its popular Overnight Christmas Camp!

After two fun days of games and activities from 9:00am-3:00pm on Monday the 23rd and Tuesday the 24th in our local Kaohsiung park (Museum of Fine Arts Park), we will find some fresh air for 3 days and 2 nights of camping in beautiful Wanluan Township! We will leave Kaohsiung on December 25th at 9:00am and return on December 27th at 3:00pm. 

Your child will foster an appreciation of camping in a safe, private environment at the Yingda X Mulu Ecological Leisure Park. This will be our third straight year at our phenomenal camping venue. 
Surrounded by trees, mountains, and clean air, this campground has plenty of room for our popular Summershine games and activities! Our knowledgeable staff will ensure that your child will learn about the ecology, and enjoy Scouts and outdoor camping skills, all while practicing and learning English! No devices will be allowed, except for bedtime communication with parents. Enjoy nature!

On the huge grass fields and secure, private grounds, campers will engage in wonderful activities, games, and lessons. While interacting with other children in a safe and wholesome camping environment, they will also learn valuable skills, such as, but not limited to:

• shelter building
• campfire cooking
• knot tying
• arts and crafts
• navigation
• Christmas activities
• mystery mind-puzzles
• team and friendship-building

Campers will sleep in tents, and dine on healthy and delicious food. Our Summershine staff will ensure that the children will have every need taken care of, while simultaneously allowing them to develop a sense of responsibility and awareness.
